My siblings and I got 2 orders of the chicken Huarache, 1 order of the carnitas quesadilla, and 1 of the 4 enchiladas (with two cheese and two with chicken). Everything exceeded expectations in portion size, flavor, and quality- which were already fairly high, since this establishment had 4.5 stars and over 90 reviews! Dont underestimate this place because its Mexican cuisine is top notch. But hey, dont take my word for it, give it a chance and I doubt youll be disappointed.

It's made from slightly fried corn masa with plenty of fillings including lettuce, tomato, and a bit of sour cream. They have 3 salsas to choose from: red, green, and "picosa". The last one isn't for the faint of heart; you will definitely feel it during your drive back to Seattle. It was a very substantial quesadilla. I also ordered a small cup of frijoles. I don't usually say it but even the beans were delicious. The horchata is respectable.

I love their food. So flavorful. I've tried a lot of their different plates but started ordering the small burrito because it is the perfect size for me. The reason is because we do not live there. We always stop there when we go to and from Seattle. And I do not like to waste food. My husband loves their street tacos. I give it 2 thumbs up!!! My FAVORITE Taco Truck. I have been going here for almost 4 years now. Ivan and his employees are so kind and positive, and the tacos are phenomenal. My personal favorite is getting four tacos al pastor and an aguas de mango! I cannot wait for Los Chilangos to cater my wedding this Summer!

Amazing tacos! I always get the fried pork tacos with no cilantro. So good! Big portions for little price. I think the only downfall would be their hours aren't consistent. Sometimes they are open, sometimes closes. Different days of the week. We never know when they will be open unless we drive by. There have been a few times my husband would try to go get us lunch but they were closed in the middle of the week. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

The best carne asada I have had in Ellensburg (unlike the gristle I got from Tacos Chalitos across the street). Fresh tortillas and avocados. Delicious!! On our way out to Montana we decided to give this place a try, and soo glad we did! The food is amazing! That was a month ago. We are back tonight (making an out of the way stop) from North Bend on our way to Wenatchee, and just as good as I remember. Tortillas are homemade, and some of the best I've had. This place is delicious and a great value. We stopped here on a road trip across the state and tried it based on other yelp reviews. The food was really good, very fresh and authentic. The owner was really friendly and provided great service. I was also blown away that my tacos were under $5! Don't miss it!

Such a great stop for real tacos! The cabeza tacos are amazing, tender meat. The rest of the tacos are fantastic as well. You can sit in door or outdoor too.

Best tacos in ellensburg! Always my go to & the staff is very personable. Their tortillas are homemade and very authentic. Inside seating is very clean- only thing is the wait time is pretty long so we usually call in advance and pick up.

Found this truck on our way through town. I had a ham and cheese torta, while my husband had the quesadilla and beef taco combo. All of the food was delicious! Since it was raining, we sat inside. It was clean, cozy and we got to watch soccer while we ate. We will definitely be back on our next trip through.

Legitimately some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The BBQ Pork with pineapple tacos are incredible. Always excited when I come through Ellensburg so I have a chance to go here. Can't wait to come back.

This is my favorite taco truck in Ellensburg! Everything about it is sooo good! Staff is super nice as well and the inside seating areas is very clean. TV available inside usually playing music. Can call to order so takeout is super simple. I go there so much!

Best Mexican food in Ellensburg. They are the real deal, with delicious taco truck fare and some surprisingly good carnitas. Every time I'm in the Burg I have to stop for some. You will be thrilled you stopped.

Best taco truck in town hands down! The tacos are made with handmade tortillas and are super filling! They have aguas frescas of many flavors which are also affordable. I highly recommend horchata and lime waters which are my personal favorites. The burritos are also very good and the big burrito is bigger than it sounds but filling! Sometimes, they have specials on Tuesday's if you follow their Snapchat. I go very frequently and I have never been disappointed and everything I've tried on their menu has always been good! On top of that, they have good customer service! I highly recommend this taco truck of the two that are in town because it has great flavor, seasoned well, affordable, and you won't be disappointed.

Best Tacos I've ever had. I live three hours away and make it a point of duty to regularly drive out just for the Tacos. The tortillas are scratch made and this makes all the difference. The service is excellent and the staff super friendly.

Who says the Evergreen State doesn't have good Mexican food!? Not me, after stumbling across this delicious taco truck located in the geographical center of the state :D Since my discovery, I stop in Ellensburg to feed my Mexican food cravings anytime I drive by (yes, this means I will show up twice over one weekend trip and I'm sure the staff wonder what's wrong with me - but actually probably not, since they're super friendly). I've eaten here four times and counting... and each time I had a friend with me who concurred Los Chilangos is da bomb. And, said friends eat meat, so this review doesn't just cover veggie items : ) Dishes that we have tried:
- burritos (veg / tripe / cabeza) - TO DIE FOR! the spanish rice is so flavorful and done just right, my friend said the meat was cooked to perfection (I guess tripe can easily become rubbery if overdone), and I love that they use queso fresco!
- tlacoyos - highly recommend you try at least once, i had never heard of this fried masa dish before - Los Chilangos stuffs theirs with refried beans, yum!
- enchiladas (carnitas) - just a heads up - they prepare them with pineapple, which took my friend by surprise but makes for an interesting sweet and savory flavor experience
- tortas (nopales) - if you love nopales you will love this torta since it's stuffed with it on a tasty bun with all the fixings (most importantly ripe avocado and rich mayo)

To add to the flavors of the food, they offer two salsas and a hot sauce (which is made with habanero, i think?). I've only tried the salsa verde and it's excellent. Your mouth will burn from the hot sauce, but fear not, their aquas frescas will come to the rescue. They offer several different flavors and I recommend mixing them! My favorite is pineapple/mango. They are so fresh i want to guess they are pressed to order.

If you're still reading this review, I'm going to qualify it by saying I'm not a Mexican food connoisseur, but I've patronized many taquerias and trucks and I think it's safe to say you will not be disappointed if you give Los Chilangos a try : )

Very tasty, reasonably priced. If the weather is good the seating outside is lovely. The inside seating isn't as appealing but I was there on a beautiful summer afternoon.

This food truck is amazing. My wife and I stopped on our way through Ellensburg and were blown away. I got 2 asada tacos and 2 el pastor tacos and my wife got an asada burrito. We were both completely satisfied. The service was also excellent. The guy working was cheerful and pleasant to talk to. We will be coming back next time we're in town!

I've been eating the sad tacos from across the street this entire time. At Chalito they're always grouchy, serve store bought tortillas, green water salsa and flavorless dry asada.
HERE they have fresh in house tortillas, amazing verde and fantastic asada.
This is the new place. Bless them for existing!!!

These are the most amazing authentic tacos. I drive FOUR HOURS to get a taste of these in my mouth. Asada is a must. 10/10 recommended. GET THE SALSA VERDE.

Badass taco truck on the dusty main drag conveniently next to the Legal Weed store in Eburg. Don't drive by - dudes and lady friends, this place is for reals. You can taste the love in their food. Start with the tacos - small double taps of fresh tortilla with crafted meats dropped into the pillowy goodness. Chilangos means "of or from Mexico City" and you know that Al Pastor tacos are literally the street taco of Mxico City? The Pastor here is amazing.

Add in a side order of beans and a roasted Jalapeo. Beans were awesome and the pepper was roasted and fried in the chorizo pan. Awesome! The salsas, you ask? How are the salsas? Answer: legit! Hot had some good heat, the others? Well, I'm not into the mild ones. That's for someone else to decide. Viva los Chilangos!

Anytime we pass through Ellensburg, my husband and I stop here to eat!! Everything is so good!! Homemade tortillas!! Meats are so tender!! Salsas are the bomb!! Generous portions, and we tend to order more to taste everything. Must eat and go!!

Dude!! Where has this taco truck been my whole life? After a very unfortunate experience at another truck (see my other review) I was apprehensive to eat tacos in Ellensburg ever again. Lo and behold, this truck was patiently waiting for me to stop by and sample it's goodness. OH MY GOD!! Seriously, the food here is amazing! I had two lengua and one cabeza taco with all the fixings and it was so incredibly delicious. I might have to check myself into "taco rehab" because I cannot stop thinking about those tacos. Perfectly cooked and seasoned and their salsa is so amazingly good. The only downside is no matter how many tacos I eat they will never live up to the reputation of Los Chilangos. I live in Selah and yes, I consider driving all the way out to Ellensburg just for a taco. The gentleman who served me (I forgot your name dude, I'm sorry) was awesome and super chill. Apparently he can read minds as well because he knew exactly how I like my tacos without me having to say anything. Now THAT'S service. The seating area outside is clean, inviting and even the other customers were super awesome. It's like I joined some secret taco club that only a select few in Ellensburg know about. Just writing this review makes me want another taco...Thanks Los Chilangos! You have restored my faith in the taco culture in Ellensburg.

It is a pretty organized and clean atmosphere. I enjoy the inside sitting area, the staff are pretty nice and chill. Food wise, it's not too bad. The burrito that I got, the meat was a little dry and the burrito was kinda small. The tacos wasn't too bad but it wasn't phenomenal like tacos chalitos across the street. The price was a tad bit more expensive than tacos chalitos but give it a shot! Not a bad place but can't compete with taco chalitos.

Boy am I glad I decided to stop in Ellensburg for gas and was craving tacos . This little taco truck was phenomenal and the food was delicious you can also either sit outside and soak up some sun or go inside their little restaurant and enjoy the AC . I decided to sit outside and soak up the sun and met some really cool people and enjoyed some awesome food I actually had a person that I had never met just come sit down with me and share my salsa and we had a great conversation over some amazing street food . After going here even if I don't need gas in Ellensburg I will be stopping to get these tacos every time I drive-by . Btw the burrito is HUGE . It took me 2 days to eat it

Heading back from the Gorge on Labor Day, our fav Mexican spot was closed, but we were happy to discover Los Chilangos down the street. We loved the food and the staff was really friendly. We'll come back!

Super authentic flavor! Traveled about an hour with the food before I was able to eat it and it was still tasty! Orders do take long but only because the tortillas are hand made.

Being away from home I definitely appreciate good food. I definitely recommend getting the asada fries they are delicious.

Hand-made tortillas that are AMAZING. This place is worth a detour if you're driving by (like we were). Hands down the best tacos we've had in the Pacific Northwest. We ordered a dozens tortillas to go because we couldn't get enough. Please do yourself a favor and try these delicious tacos!
